Amazing food! What a gem! The 1/2 pound waygu beef hamburger was thoroughly enjoyed by my husband. I had the shrimp and grits. The creamy polenta was one of the best I ever had. Very casual. NOT overpriced! Definitely a place to stop for in Hermiston. Check hours to be sure they are open.
Small menu + moderate portions = amazing food bursting with flavor. Everything was delicious from start to finish. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable, the server was kind and efficient. I enjoyed not having to browse 200+ items, wink wink Hales, and the portion sizes were filling but not over the top. This restaurant is a great example of how great food doesn't have to be complicated. Hermiston has wonderful ingredients on it's doorstep, buying local and cooking fresh makes success. Thanks again, coming back for dinner!
Anyone looking for THE BEST FOOD needs to visit Walker's. We are not locals and we think that this restaurant is ABSOLUTELY AN AMAZING!!! We have had Death By Pig, Hawg Heaven, Cynful Biscuit and Gravy and Sonara Grilled Cheese and I can not think of ANY restaurant that has better flavor, texture and variety. JUST GO!!! NOW!! You will NOT be disappointed!!
Great atmosphere, felt like I was rubbing elbows with the locals.
Very, very VERY pleasantly surprised. So good. So tasty. Unique! I will be back.
Tremendous little place serving farm fresh food. All the staff are really friendly and informative about the dishes. I went with the Wagyu beef burger, it was tremendous, maybe one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Then for Dessert, I had homemade butterscotch pudding with candied bacon on top. If you’re passing through here, I definitely recommend this place. But it’s kind of small inside, so call ahead for reservations.
Home cooked and delicious. It's not your normal restaurant. Setup in a old house setting they make you feel right at home. The only thing is no chocolate milk for breakfast.
I had a kind of shrimp on grits soup type deal that was mind-explodingly delicious! I would highly recommend this place if you're after something delicious and a little different than the usual restaurant food.
My family and I were excited to eat at this restaurant from all the good reviews, While waiting for 5 to 10 minutes for a seat the server came out and said they took a reservation by phone and they had no place for us. He wouldn't even recommend another restaurant for us to eat at which was bull. We found a great restaurant that served an excellent ribeye steak. Sorry Walkers for your poor business practice.
Cute little restaurant with very friendly staff. The food we had was very good and would recommend to all.
Best restaurant in Hermiston, OR. Had duck pasta, ono lish.
Fantasticly flavorful food. The churrasco appetizer was brilliantly flavored and cooked perfectly, and the meal maintained its excellence from there. The duck pasta mixed light and savory notes wonderfully, the chicken fried chicken was delicious without bring overly heavy, and the ceasar and beet salads were refreshing and satisfying. The capstone, though, is the dessert. If the Butterscotch Boudino and Italian Carrot Cake are offered, do yourself a favor and order both. They complement each other beautifully and won't weigh you down after your delicious dinner, instead leaving you with a spiced, satisfying and light end to your evening.Cannot recommend Walker's higher! We will be back!
Great food fantasric atmosphere wonderful service
Incredible everything. Do yourself a favor and make it in whenever you can. There's nothing on the menu that doesn't make your mouth water just thinking of it. Then, you taste it and your brain blows right out the back of your head. Easily the best atmosphere/food in Hermiston.
I had heard good things about this restaurant and finally got to try it - better than expected. It was hard to choose between all the menu items and a good assortment of specials. Lots of extra ingredients and work go into their meals and make a difference in the taste. I'll be back! (said in my best Arnold Terminator voice)
Delicious home made dishes.
Dining at Walker's tonight was a lovely experience. We had skimmed the reviews (thanks to everyone who takes time and effort to write reviews!) and decided to try it. Although the menu appeared very limited, we were pleasantly blown away with the efforts put forth to provide additional vegetarian fare. The Chef is just a genius, presenting culinary combinations that danced with the pallette and gave succor to all senses. The portions were generous, the prices appeared a little high until the quality of ingredients proved our meal worthy.
One of the best burgers I've ever had. Unique little bistro style creations. Anyone who thinks this place is overpriced has never left their small town. The portions are more than enough to easily fill any normal sized people. Little cities like Hermiston need less deep fried diner food and more places like this. Next time I drive to Portland, best believe I'm stopping here.
Love love love this place. We walked from our hotel. Best burger I've ever had, hands down. Everything was homemade and fantastic, even the ketchup. The ambiance was classy rustic. Yes, those two do exist together at this little gem. Check out the chandeliers!
Best food in Hermiston. Had the burger tonight, it was amazing.
Great food & friendly service! My husband ordered the Wagu burger and said it was one of the best burgers he's ever had. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and it was also very good. The water is fused with cucumber and was so refreshing we didn't need anything else to drink. For dessert we shared a butterscotch pudding with salted caramel and bacon toppers. It was a perfect meal! Our server visited with us a few times while checking in with us and the owner refilled our waters and visited as well. We highly recommend this restaurant!
Half the menu was sold out only a couple sandwiches and salad to choose from. Kinda spendy for what you get. My wagu burger was way over seasoned. The salad was good and really fresh.
Absolutely amazing as it is everytime we go there. Bad thing is, it's all so good, I leave so full and miserable :). Great place to go for sure.
Best place to eat in Hermiston hands down, everything is made from scratch. Like a little piece of Portland in Eastern Oregon! Great service too!
Food is so fresh. You can tell the chef puts her heart in the meals.
Ridiculously low selection. There was only one thing on the menu besides a cheeseburger that my wife and I even liked. It was really good, but the portion size was small and the price was $18.Just a real disappointment.Seems like a good place for hipsters who want to pretend they are getting a real country meal, but as someone who grew up in the mid-west this was far from a "farm" kitchen. Staff was very nice though.
Amazing burgers. Just don’t ask for one well done. 😉 Seriously some of the best beef you will eat. Try the cookies with macadamia nuts and chocolate chips and more.
The food was absolutely amazing, desert was delicious and the service was great! Definitely recommend!
Why it doesn’t have a 5 star I will never know but it is amazing and worth the extra time it added to our trip! Amazing!!!! And super nice service
Hands down the best burger in Eastern Oregon. Great dishes with a unique on farm to table flair. Awesome service..... reasonable priced!!
Found this place on accident. We came in during Brunch and it was amazing! They were voluntarily accommodating for my 18 month old, bringing out what we ordered for him ASAP (big thank you). We will definitely be heading back. I look forward to seeing what dinner has to offer.
I had the farm burger and it was amazing! The salad that came with and the made from scratch dressing were delicious. I would definitely eat here again.
One of the best restaurants in hermiston. Great service with awesome food. They have a new soup flavor everyday, and they pull it off every time. The dinner is exquisite, food is prepared so thoughtful and they are so passionate about it. This is a must
Food was good! Lil spendy for what your getting. Different! Not a lot of choices and if your into different try it
What a nice surprise! This place looks like an old home. The layout makes you feel look like you're sitting in a living room. The best part of this place is, the owners and the chef know food. GREAT menu. The lamb app was outrageous and the shrimp and grits to die for. New fav!
Charming location and fabulous food. Recommended temprenillo was a great match for lamb and beet root salad.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We do our dinner dates here at least once a month. The dinners are amazing, the cucumber infused water is so crisp and thirst quenching, chicken fried steak plate is to die for and the salad is refreshing! Dining room is softly lit, comfortable and cozy. The couple that owns and runs it are amazing and greet us with smiles every time! I would give them 100🌟 if I could!!!
The best youll find anywhere
This was an absolutely amazing experience. The food was delicious. The service was great. The environment was great. I cannot say enough good things. Eat here, it will be worth it.
Always on point. Love this place. Order literally, ANYTHING on the menu. You'll be amazed.
Great food ..limited menu ..great personal service..quiet friendly atmosphere..
This restaurant sources fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. The menu changes and it is good, tasty. The bar offers beer and wine, not sure about mixed drinks but I don't think so. The atmosphere is elegant, not pretentious, with splashes of farmiston. They have a kid menu, but I would prefer to take my kids somewhere else. Better enjoyed with a friend or a friend.
We are from out of state. I called to ask if they were open. The lady was very rude and said they haven't been open for lunch in over a year. I explained that I didn't know because I wasn't from here. She very rudely said, "well it's all over our social media!" Judging from that ladies attitude, I wouldn't spend a dime there!!
Too expensive for what you get. First time coming here and there won't be a second time! The burger was good, but not for the price. Sorry but i don't suggest this place if there's more than 2 people eating.
Very pretentious, food not that great. Atmosphere old, dirty not rustic. No fountain drinks and diet coke was served in a can but it had expired in January and we were there in June. Tasted awful.Guy seating people would make everyone wait 10 minutes for table even if there was a table already to go. Just not good.
Burger was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, the steak ordered by another in our party, was not.
Had reservations 2 weeks in advance as out of State guests, we showed up and were informed they were closing early and told we were wrong about our reservations. Rude!
Amazing food, amazing service! Highly recommend the "Hog Heaven" sandwich.
My picky 15 year old wanted to go to Denny's and was mad I made him try this. Afterward he said this was the best burger he'd ever eaten and then sent me back for a second lemon coconut cookie! Everything was fantastic-fresh, original, and clearly prepared with care. Staff are clearly following their dream...what a lovely lunch 😊
Great food great service and atmosphere!
